Timeline & Cost

  • Total construction and start-up costs are $3.9 million. We are working hard to keep the administrative costs of this campaign under 8%. Contributors to this project can be assured that the majority of the money contributed will go towards construction and start-up of a new facility. Funders of the project include $550,000 from the Rasmuson Foundation, $450,000 from the Alaska State legislature, $70,000 from the City & Borough of Juneau, $1,246,756 from the Denali Commission, $50,000 from the Alaska Mental Health Trust, $10,000 from the Skaggs Foundation, $297,600 federal HUD appropriation, $200,000 from the Murdock Charitable Trust, $100,000 from the Paul Allen Foundation, $10,000 from the Wells Fargo Foundation, and over $100,000 from local businesses and individuals.
  • The Center is currently under construction, and we hope to open in the summer of 2008.
