Juneau Arts & Culture Center
A first-class arts and performance center in Alaska’s Capital City that builds on and nourishes a rich arts tradition.
Envisioned to be a modern and inviting community arts facility, the Willoughby Arts Complex (WAC) will incorporate the existing Juneau Arts and Culture Center (the JACC), and extend toward Centennial Hall. Collaborations with artists and the community ensure input from people like you – those who will make and experience the arts in the finished building. Currently actively in the design phase, the completed WAC is projected to provide theater and gallery spaces, meeting rooms, classrooms, offices for arts and cultural groups, a café, and an artisan gift shop. Perseverance Theatre will gain a new home here, maintaining their much-loved intimacy and audience experience, while improving their capability to produce great plays. The WAC will be more than just a facility; it will become a vital, lively center for all the arts, fostering community connections and artistic inspiration.
