Youth Action Committee

The Youth Action Committee (YAC) was established by the Juneau Community Foundation to engage high school students in community philanthropy. This Committee aspires to raise awareness and address the challenging issues Juneau teens face in their everday lives. YAC is lead by community volunteers and includes freshman through senior students, who volunteer their time to select annual giving areas, raise funds, review applications, and distribute grants for youth-related causes and programs.
