The Juneau Community Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of the application period for the 2025 Arts Vibrancy Endowment Artist Awards. This annual grant program (formerly the Individual Artist Award) supports local artists, groups, and collaboratives in Juneau by providing critical funding to foster creativity, innovation, and cultural enrichment.
This year, in honor of the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary, a total of $25,000 will be awarded to individual artists or artist collectives working in a variety of disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, theater, literature, and multidisciplinary work.
The Arts Vibrancy Endowment was established to recognize and support the vital role that artists play in shaping a vibrant, resilient community. Since its creation in 2021, the endowment has provided over $115,000 in support of artists and their work.
“Supporting local artists is essential to maintaining the cultural heartbeat of Juneau,” said Christy Ciambor, Program Director at the Juneau Community Foundation. “These awards provide artists with the resources they need to pursue new work, deepen their practice, and share their creativity with the community.”
