The Foundation’s Feeding Juneau Kids Fund provides weekend and holiday food bags, nutritious school breakfasts and lunches, and emergency food assistance for students in crisis, ensuring Juneau’s children have the nourishment they need to grow and learn.
On December 20, Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé National Honor Society students helped assemble winter-break food bags with support from Gastineau Human Services, Southeast Alaska Food Bank, and Super Bear Foodland IGA. Members of Coast Guard District 17 and Sector Juneau distributed the bags to local families.
And thanks to you, our generous donors, we didn’t just meet our $100,000 Feeding Juneau Kids goal, we surpassed it. More than $148,000 has been raised toward the $100,000 matching gift from the Benito & Frances C. Gaguine Foundation.
Here’s to more good news in 2026! 🎉
