The Juneau Community Foundation’s Friends of Gustavus Fund is pleased to announce their very first grant application period is now open.
The Friends of Gustavus Fund began with a dream of providing the means for enhancing the quality of life in Gustavus. This long-term charitable endowment is designed to maintain Gustavus as a vital, progressive, and healthy community. The fund has received generous support and is now able to award annual grants to the community.
“We’re excited to offer this first round of grants to the community. The application process is deliberately very streamlined to encourage nonprofit organizations, and individuals and groups with fiscal sponsors to apply,” noted fund advisor, Meadow Brook. “We’re looking for well-thought-out proposals that can be carried out within a year that will enhance the quality of life for our town.”
Applications must be submitted no later than November 1, 2023, and grants are expected to be awarded by December 31. Grant amounts range from $500 to $4,000 per award.
