Established in 2024, the Shattuck Family Youth Endowment was created to assist disadvantaged youth primarily through (but not limited to) vocational training grants.
Allen is a third-generation Juneau resident and Jan has lived here for over 60 years. Both feel that Juneau had been very good to them and want to give back to the community. By establishing this fund, they hope they can help disadvantaged youth get a head start in life while easing the shortage of skilled labor in our community.
