Rachel joined the Juneau Community Foundation in August of 2025 as Administrative Manager.
Rachel grew up in Georgia and found her way to Alaska in 2009 in search of cooler weather and outdoor adventure. She’s worked in many fields and in many capacities from tour guide to teacher to grant writer. Her love of people has led her to the Juneau Community Foundation where she hopes to promote philanthropy and the wellbeing of the community.
Rachel lives with her child and young cat and spends her time reading, writing, and hiking. If she had a billion dollars she would give it all away to support education and individuals in finding their way in this big, beautiful, complicated world.
