Valerie Robinson joined the Juneau Community Foundation on a temporary basis to assist in updating the Foundation’s policies and procedures. Valerie spent 20 years working in the Alaska Department of Law, about 15 of which were spent overseeing the operations of the state’s district attorney offices.

Originally from Utah, Valerie spent several years in Washington D.C. and New York before moving to Anchorage in 1997. In 2000 she moved to Juneau, which quickly became home because of its natural beauty, outdoor recreational opportunities, good schools, and healthy, creative, community energy. She and her husband have raised three kids in Juneau and appreciate all the opportunities it has given them.
