Healthy individuals are the bedrock of healthy communities. In order to achieve and maintain good health, we need to have access to reliable, affordable health services of all kinds. High quality, community-based care, like that provided in local clinics, family service agencies, and school health centers, can help connect individuals and families with the services they need.
The Juneau Community Foundation’s Health Fund provides an easy way to support organizations that work to improve the health and well-being of our citizens. Since 2005, we invested close to $613,000 in 27 health related organizations and programs:
